Vol. 69 No. 20

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Cork Housing Loans.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state when he is prepared to sanction applications for loans to the Cork County Council by persons erecting houses under the Housing Acts; and if he will state the reason for the protracted delay in giving sanction to loans long since passed by the county council.

I have dealt with all the proposals submitted to me by the Cork County Council.

When did the Minister finish dealing with these proposals?

The last case was dealt with three days ago. There was only one case to be dealt with then.

There is no delay in issuing these loans?

There has not been any avoidable delay at any time so far as we are concerned.
