Vol. 69 No. 20

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dance Halls.

asked the Minister for Justice if he will state the number of (a) licensed dance halls in each county and in the Dublin metropolitan area; (b) the number of such halls deemed to be run for profit, and the source from which the figures are compiled.

A statement, prepared by the Gárda Síochána, giving the number of halls in each county and in the Dublin metropolitan area, in respect of which public dancing licences (other than short-term licences) were in force on the 31st December, 1937, will be published in the Official Report.
