Written Answers. - Yield from Penal Tariffs.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will state the total amount of money collected in each of the years 1932-1937 by the British Government by means of the penal tariffs imposed on the import from Éire to Great Britain and Northern Ireland of (1) live cattle; (2) beef; (3) live sheep; (4) mutton; (5) live pigs, (6) bacon and hams; (7) pork; (8) other pig products: (9) horses; (10) poultry, dead and live; (11) eggs, and (12) butter.

The Deputy should be able to obtain information as to the approximate amounts in the published report of the British Commissioners of Customs and Excise for the year ended 31st March, 1937.
