Vol. 70 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Curragh Building Workers' Wages.

asked the Minister for Defence whether he is aware that in November last an agreement was arrived at between the Trade Unions and the Building Employers' Federation which increased the rates of wages to building workers at the Curragh Camp, and if he will state when the increased wage will be paid to building labourers employed by the Department of Defence at the Curragh Camp.

The answer to the first part of the Deputy's question is in the affirmative. The increased wages of the builders' labourers at the Curragh Camp have been paid with effect from the 6th November, 1937.

Will the Minister say when they were paid?
