Written Answers. - County Dublin Lands.

asked the Minister for Lands if it is proposed to acquire for division amongst uneconomic holders and landless men the following untenanted and non-residential grass lands:—Sheridan's estate, Rathartan, Lusk, containing 105 acres; the remainder of the Thunder lands (Eyre Coote) estate, Ballealy, Rush, containing 80 acres; the Carey estate, Beau, Lusk, Rush, containing 80 acres, and the Lyons estate, Oberstown, Lusk, containing 140 acres.

The Land Commission have instituted proceedings for the resumption of the holding of Patrick Thunder, comprising 318 acres approximately in Ballealy East and West and Rowlestown. They have also instituted proceedings for the resumption of the holding of W.J. Sherwin, lands of Rathartan, area 105 acres approximately. The Land Commission have had under consideration the question of the acquisition of the Carey estate, comprising the lands of Beau, 77 acres, and decided to take no action for acquisition. They have directed that inquiries be made regarding the lands of Oberstown, 134 acres, on the estate of reps, of Mary J. Lyons.

asked the Minister for Lands if he intends to take action to acquire and divide the following untenanted and non-residential grass lands amongst uneconomic holders and landless men in the district: (1) Bell's estate, Baldungan, Skerries, containing 150 acres; (2) Gailey's estate, Blacklands, Skerries, containing 90 acres; (3) Mr. Griffin's, Balcunnin, Skerries, containing 80 acres; (4) Ganly's, Baldungan, Skerries, containing 50 acres; (5) Portland Cement Company, Curkeen, containing 100 acres; and (6) Colonel Woods' estate, Milverton, Skerries, containing 250 acres.

(1) The Land Commission have instituted proceedings for the resumption of the holding of Emily Bell, lands of Baldongan and Laytown, area 203 acres approximately.

(2) The Land Commission have under consideration the question of instituting resumption proceedings in respect of the holdings of Sarah Gailey, lands of Blacklands, area 99a. approximately.

(3) The Land Commission have no proceedings for the acquisition of the estate of James Griffin, Balcunnin, Skerries, but particulars of the estate (which comprises the lands of Balcunnin, 64 acres, and Milverton, 31 acres) have been obtained.

(4) The Land Commission propose to have inquiries made regarding the lands of Baldangan, containing 46 acres on the estate of William Ganly.

(5) Regarding the "Portland Cement Company, Curkeen," if the Deputy refers to the estate of Delta, Limited, lime and cement merchants, comprising an area of 541 acres, the Land Commission have under consideration the question of the acquisition of this estate.

(6) The Land Commission have no proceedings for the acquisition of the Woods' estate, Milverton, Skerries
