Vol. 72 No. 7

Written Answers. - Shanganagh Castle Estate.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state the position with reference to the Shanganagh Castle estate, Rathmichael, Shankill, comprising 160 acres, which is let on the eleven months' system and whose owner does not reside there; and if he will take action to have the lands acquired and divided amongst uneconomic holders and landless men in the area.

The Land Commission are having inquiries made regarding the lands of Shanganagh, on the estate of L.M. Glover, comprising 140 acres, but until the inquiries are completed it is not possible to state whether the lands will be acquired.
