Vol. 72 No. 7

Written Answers. - A Tallaght Estate.

asked the Minister for Lands if the Land Commission have acquired the estate of Mrs. Murphy, comprising 250 acres, at Newtown, Ballyvista and Dellaford, Templeogue, Tallaght; and, if so, if he will state when they will be in a position to have it divided amongst uneconomic holders and landless men in the area.

Mr. Boland

The lands in question appear to comprise: Knocklyon, 61 acres; Tallaght, 170 acres; Templeogue, 16 acres, on the estate of John Murphy. The Land Commission are having inquiries made regarding these lands, but at the present stage of the proceedings it is not possible to state whether or when the lands will be acquired.
