Vol. 72 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dalkey Post Office.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if in view of the increase in the population of the district of Dalkey within recent years he will consider raising the status of the Dalkey Post Office, which is at present an adjunct to an existing business, to the level of an independent post office, with the attendant comfort and convenience to the general public.

The question of the status of Dalkey Sub-Post Office has been under consideration.

It has been found that, having regard to the amount of Post Office business transacted there, a change in the direction indicated would not be warranted.
