asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state in respect of each county the rates made by the county council for ordinary expenditure in respect of roads, county services, health district charges and poor relief, for the year ending 31st March, 1939; the gross abatements in the £ for the Agricultural Grant, and the total rates made on other hereditaments and agricultural land respectively.

The particulars required were asked for in a general circular issued to the county councils on 14th June. There are four returns still outstanding. The information will be sent to the Deputy when it has been compiled.
