asked the Minister for Justice if he will state the total number of motor vehicle cases brought to trial in the D.M.G. area during the year 1937 in which a charge of drunkenness was entered (singly or otherwise); the number of cases in which such charge of drunkenness resulted in (1) dismissal; (2) conviction with fine; (3) conviction and imprisonment; (4) conviction and caution; and the number of cases in which the sentence of conviction and imprisonment was mitigated to other than imprisonment (a) on appeal and (b) other than on appeal.
