Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Kildare Estate.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state whether the Land Commission have yet acquired the Hannigan estate at Cherryville, Monasterevan (Record No. S.4711); and, if so, when the estate will be divided.

The Appeal Tribunal have authorised the resumption of 184a. 2r. 12p. of the holding of Nicholas Hannigan in the townland of Cherryville, and the Land Commission propose to take possession of this area next spring, when they hope to be in a position to divide the lands.

asked the Minister for Lands whether the Land Commission propose to take steps to acquire the lands of the representatives of the late Mr. B. Masterson at Kilrush, Fontstown, Athy; and, if so, how the matter now stands.

The Land Commission have not yet decided as to whether they will take steps to acquire the Masterson estate to which the Deputy refers.

asked the Minister for Lands whether the Land Commission propose to acquire the White estate at Mount Prospect, Rathangan, County Kildare, for division; and if he will state when the lands are likely to be acquired and divided.

The question of the acquisition of the White estate is under consideration by the Land Commission but at the present stage of the proceedings it is not possible to state whether or when the lands will be acquired and divided.
