Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Acquisition of Crossboyne, Claremorris, Lands.

asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware that acute congestion exists in the townland of Gorlough, on the Sligo estate, in the parish of Crossboyne, Claremorris; and if he will state what steps, if any, are being taken by the Land Commission to divide the farm taken over from Mrs. Anne Burke on the Sligo estate among the tenants in that townland.

The Land Commission have arranged to take possession on the 1st of May next of the three resumed holdings of Mrs. Anne Burke to which the Deputy refers, and a scheme for their allotment will be prepared and put into operation as soon as possible.
