asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will state what progress has been made in the acquisition of the site for the improvement of accommodation at the James's Street Post Office, Dublin.

The negotiations in relation to the provision of additional accommodation at James's Street Post Office are still proceeding.

Can the Minister say when they are likely to be concluded?

We are doing our best. There is an outside source also

Will the negotiations be brought to a conclusion this year, next year or the year after?

Some of these years.

Could not the Minister suggest that it should be this year?
