Vol. 78 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Division of Land in County Meath.

asked the Minister for Lands whether he has received representations from uneconomic holders and landless men in the Ballinabrackey and Ballyboggan area in County Meath, regarding the acquisition and division of lands by the Land Commission, and if he will state whether it is proposed to acquire and divide any lands in that area, and, if so, what lands, and when they are likely to be acquired and divided.

Representations have been made to the Land Commission to acquire lands in the Ballynabrackey and Ballyboggan area of County Meath and several estates in this area have been inspected; but at the present stage of the proceedings it is not possible to state what lands, if any, will be acquired and divided.
