Vol. 80 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Erection of Houses on Kildare Estate.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state what is the cause of the delay in erecting houses and out-offices for Messrs. W. Hill and G. Buggle on the Bishopscourt estate at Straffan, in accordance with the promise which was made to these allotees.

The contract in this case was a fairly large one involving a sum of between £4,000 and £5,000 and necessary inquiries and negotiations took somewhat longer than usual to complete. Approval of the acceptance of a tender was given on the 2nd instant and the documents will be submitted to the contractor for signature within the next couple of days.
