Vol. 80 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Acquisition of Cork Lands.

asked the Minister for Lands whether in view of inquiries and an inspection carried out by the Land Commission of the estate of Mr. W. Tower Townshend, Myross Wood, Leap, County Cork, some time ago, and of the intention of the owner to offer the lands for sale at an early date, the Land Commission will proceed with negotiations for the acquisition of the lands.

The Land Commission have had an inspection made of the lands of Ardagh, Brada and Kenmore in the occupation of Mr. William Tower Townshend but they have not yet come to a decision on the question of their acquisition.
