Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Kildare Estate.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state whether the Land Commission have completed their inquiries regarding the acquisition of the estate of the late Mr. D. Kelly, Drennanstown, Rathangan, County Kildare, and, if so, whether it is proposed to institute proceedings for the acquisition of the holding.

The Land Commission have had inquiries made to ascertain the suitability for their purposes of the lands of Drennanstown South and North on the estate of the late Daniel Kelly, but having regard to the emergency conditions now obtaining it is not proposed to take any action in the matter at present.
