Vol. 82 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Written Answers. - Dublin National Schools.

Mr. Byrne

asked the Minister for Education if he will state the cause of the delay in the building of the girls' national school, Glasnevin, and the national school, Dundrum, and, in view of the unemployment in the building trade, if he will expedite their erection.

Schemes have been submitted for the improvement of the school accommodation in those cases, but as grants for the erection and improvement of national schools generally have been considerably restricted in view of the present emergency conditions their consideration has had to be delayed.
