Vol. 83 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Foot-and-Mouth Disease in County Kilkenny.

asked the Minister for Justice whether his attention has been directed to the allegation that certain person in County Kilkenny had, by advising farmers not to pay attention to the veterinary inspectors, contributed to the spread of foot-and-mouth disease in the county, whether he will indicate what action has been taken or will be taken against such persons, and, further, whether he will state what action has been or will be taken against the persons who, it is alleged, met the veterinary inspectors at one farm with pitchforks.

I have nothing to add to what the Minister for Agriculture has said in reply to question No. 20.

When did the Minister write that reply?
