Vol. 83 No. 17

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take Item 6 (Estimates: Vote 69 and Vote 74), and Items 4, 5, 8 and 9 in that order.

Is it proposed to sit to-morrow?

Is it proposed to meet on next Tuesday?

The order of business has been somewhat protracted this week. What is it proposed to take to-morrow?

Financial business.

What business will be taken on Tuesday?

I cannot say at the moment.

Some of these matters are of considerable importance. If Item 8 is not reached to-day, will it be taken to-morrow?

No. The Committee Stage of the Finance Bill will be taken at 10.30 a.m. to-morrow.

Then, if we do not reach Item 8 to-day, it will be left over until Tuesday?

When is it proposed to give time for discussion of Order No. 83?

At an early date.

Parliamentary time is running out, and this order must be dealt with next week. Can we get a rough idea of when it will be taken?

It will be taken next week, anyhow.

On Tuesday?

Not necessarily.

Then, on Thursday?

We shall not let you down.
