Vol. 84 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Improvement of Loughshinny Harbour.

asked the Minister for Finance if he is prepared to sanction a grant of £1,500 towards the improvement of Loughshinny Harbour, the total cost of which will be £3,000, as this grant has been recommended by the Office of Public Works, the Fisheries Branch of the Department of Agriculture, and Dublin County Council, and if he is not prepared to sanction this grant, if he will state on what grounds.

It is estimated that the agreed scheme of improvement can be carried out by direct labour at a cost of £2,500. The County Council has agreed to provide £1,500, and the balance of £1,000 will be provided by the State.
