Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Industrial Credit Company's Securities.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will give a list of the securities at present held by the Industrial Credit Company and the value placed upon these at the last valuation.

According to the most recent audited and published accounts, which relate to the year ended 31st October last, the company's holdings of securities were valued at £618,220 4s. 10d. The list, which is a long one, will be included in the Official Report.

The following are the particulars. The several securities contained in the portfolio of the Industrial Credit Company are as follows:—Ranks (Ireland), Ltd. Irish Tanners, Ltd. Comhlucht Siuicre Eireann, Teo. Cement, Ltd. L. Jordan, Ltd. Milford (Donegal) Bakery and Flour Mills, Ltd. Irish Worsted Mills, Ltd. Arklow Pottery, Ltd. Salts (Ireland), Ltd. Irish Wire Products, Ltd. The Irish Aluminium Company, Ltd. Prices, Tailors (Ireland), Ltd. The Barrow Milling Company, Ltd. Wallpapers, Ltd. Albert Phillips (Ireland), Ltd. The Newbridge Cutlery Company, Ltd. John Halliday and Son, Ltd. Greenmount and Boyne Linen Company, Ltd. Allied Ironfounders (Ireland), Ltd. General Textiles, Ltd.
