Vol. 84 No. 18

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Supplies of Butter.

asked the Minister for Agriculture whether butter is still being exported, whether the quantities in cold storage are adequate to satisfy the requirements of the public during the next six months and, if not, what steps are being taken to make up the deficiency.

The export of creamery butter is suspended save for a small quantity sent to the Isle of Man or as gifts. Full provision has been made for home requirements during the coming winter and spring.
