Vol. 84 No. 18

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Secret Organisations.

asked the Minister for Justice if he is aware of the harmful effects on the national interests of this State that arise from the activities of organisations of a secret or semi-secret character, directed principally from centres outside this State, and acting through politico-religious channels by secret signs and passwords; and, if so, will he take steps by legislative action to put an end to the operations of such secret organisations.

Mr. Boland

I have not any information which would indicate the necessity for legislation on the lines suggested in the question.
