Vol. 85 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Sligo Lands.

asked the Minister for Lands when he proposes to proceed with the acquisition of the Graham Shaw property in Riversdale, Ballymote, County Sligo, as the farmers who borrowed money from the bank to release their cattle on this land are being pressed by their creditors.

The Land Commission have instituted proceedings for the acquisition of the lands of Riverstown in the occupation of Mr. Graham Shaw and a scheme for their division will be prepared as soon as possible.

When will these men be put in a position to repay the bank?

I shall look into the matter.

Will the Minister let me know?
