Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Superphosphate.

asked the Minister for Supplies if he will state (a) total quantity of superphosphate used for the season 1939-1940, (b) total quantity used for the season 1940-1941.

The total quantity, including imports, of superphosphate and of compound manures containing superphosphate that was made available in in the 1939/40 season amounted to approximately 171,250 tons. The corresponding quantity in the 1940/41 season amounted to approximately 112,750 tons.
