asked the Minister for Lands if he will state whether the Land Commission have acquired the Badger Hill estate, Rathmore, Naas; and, if so, when the lands are likely to be divided.

The Land Commission have acquired an area of 180 acres 1 rood 9 perches, in the townland of Badger Hill, County Kildare, on the estate of Andrew McEvoy. A portion of the lands has been divided and it is not possible at present to state when the remainder will be allotted.

The Land Commission have not acquired the adjoining demesne lands of Badger Hill, on the estate of Sir John Kennedy, Record No. S. 265, and have no proceedings pending for their acquisition.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state whether the Land Commission have acquired or propose to acquire the Barker estate at Ardrass, Celbridge, for division, and if he will state how the matter now stands.

The Land Commission do not propose to take any action at present to acquire the lands of Ardrass Upper, Celbridge, to which the Deputy refers.
