asked the Minister for Supplies if he will state if and when it is his intention to issue permits or make regulations governing the issue of permits in respect of the purchase of motor vehicle tyres, as these are urgently required by farmers, traders, professional men and others throughout County Dublin, and also in view of the fact that insurance companies are not desirous of granting cover in respect of vehicles on which the tyres are not in good condition.
