asked the Minister for Finance if he will state the names of the several public and private companies to which the Government has nominated or appointed as directors, managers or advisers, non-civil servants, the names of the persons so nominated and the salary, remuneration and allowances to which such persons are entitled and the source from which such salary, remuneration or allowance is payable.

Following is a statement giving the particulars requested in respect of persons at present holding office in live companies:—

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state (1) the names of the several companies, corporations and concerns in which civil servants hold office as (a) directors, (b) managers or officials; (c) advisers; (2) the names of the civil servants holding such posts, and (3) the remuneration and/or allowances, if any, paid to each such civil servant in respect of each such post.

The answer is in the form of a tabular statement which will be circulated with the Official Report. The Deputy will appreciate that it would be contrary to public policy to give the names of individual civil servants, but particulars of the rank of the civil servants in question and of the Departments in which they are serving have been given in the statement.
