Vol. 86 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Supply of Milk for Dublin.

asked the Minister for Agriculture whether in view of difficulties likely to arise in the production, transport and supply of milk for Dublin City, he will state if it is proposed to set up an inter-Departmental committee representative of the Departments of Agriculture, Local Government and Supplies to cope with such difficulties; and, if so, whether he will ensure that this committee will in their deliberations consult representatives of the producers and distributors.

The appointment of an inter-Departmental committee for the purpose indicated in the question is under consideration. Such a committee, if established, would no doubt consult representatives of milk producers and distributors in the course of their deliberations.
