Vol. 88 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Division of County Galway Lands.

asked the Minister for Lands whether the question of the relief of congestion on the Lloyd estate is being considered in connection with the preparation of schemes for the division of the Gibbons (S. 8514) and the Kelly lands in the Headford district; and if he can state when it is expected that these schemes will be completed and put into effect.

The Gibbons estate, Record No. S. 8514, comprising 37a. 0r. 33p. of the lands of Racepark, has been acquired by the Land Commission and a scheme for division is in course of preparation, but until the scheme is completed and approved it cannot be stated when it will be put into effect or whether any of the congests on the Lloyd estate will be included as allottees.

The proceedings instituted by the Land Commission for the acquisition of the Kelly estate, Record No. S. 8325, comprising 80a. 3r. 24p. of the lands of Mirchill, have been deferred for the present owing to emergency conditions.
