Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Mayo Electoral Areas.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state (a) the electoral areas in County Mayo; (b) the electoral divisions comprising each electoral area; and (c) the number of members to be elected in each area for the county council.

County Mayo will be divided into six county electoral areas with 31 members apportioned as follows: Ballina area, five members; Castlebar area, five members; Claremorris area, seven members; Killala area, four members; Swinford area, five members; and Westport area, five members. I will send the Deputy, in a few days, a copy of the Order showing the composition of these areas.
