asked the Minister for Justice if he will state the number of persons sentenced to terms of imprisonment under (a) the Offences Against the State Act, and (b) under the Emergency Powers Acts, subsequent to September 1st, 1939; and if he will state further the number of such persons in each case now in prison or otherwise detained in custody.

The number of persons sentenced to terms of imprisonment under Offences against the State Act, 1939, from 1st September, 1939, to 31st August, 1942, was
