Vol. 88 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Pig Prices.

asked the Minister for Agriculture when it is proposed to increase the price of pigs to a level which will render production profitable.

The price fixed for pigs is kept under constant review by the Pigs and Bacon Commission and changes are made when circumstances so justify. I am not in a position to indicate the date on which further alterations in prices may be made.
