Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Tipperary Estate.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state the reasons for the acquisition of the lands of the Misses Carroll, Maganstown, Kilsheelan, County Tipperary, by the Land Commission.

The Land Commission instituted proceedings for the acquisition of the lands of Maughanstown on the estate of the Misses Carroll under their statutory powers: that is to say, for the purpose of resale to the persons or bodies mentioned in Section 31, Land Act, 1923, as amended by Section 33 of the Land Act, 1933.
