Vol. 89 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Kildare Holding.

asked the Minister for Lands if Mr. Thomas Comey, Pagestown, Maynooth, whose holding on the McVeagh estate was resumed by the Land Commission a few years ago, will be reinstated; and, if not, if one of his six sons, who are eligible, will be considered.

The Land Commission have already disposed of the greater portion of the holding at Milltown and Longtown on the McVeagh estate, which they resumed from Thomas Comey for non-payment of annuity and for his failure to work the lands properly. They did not receive any application for the holding from members of Mr. Comey's family.
