Ceisteanna.—Questions. Oral Answers. - Collapse of Waterford Wall.

asked the Minister for Defence if the Government propose paying compensation to those who suffered loss and injury through the recent collapse of the prison wall in Waterford, and if any interim payments have been made.

No compensation has yet been paid in respect of loss, damage or personal injuries arising out of the collapse of portion of the prison wall in Waterford, but it is proposed to pay compensation according to the merits of each specific claim.
