Vol. 89 No. 19

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Price of Wool.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if, in view of the dissatisfaction felt by farmers regarding the prices paid to producers for last year's wool, he will take steps to ensure more equitable prices for the present year's supply.

The information at my disposal indicates that, on the whole, good prices were paid to farmers for wool of the 1942 clip and that farmers were not dissatisfied with these prices. So far as prices for the 1943 clip are concerned, the matter will be kept under review.
