Vol. 90 No. 1

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take items 2, 3 and 4 as set out on the Order Paper, No. 4 to include Votes 45 to 53.

Mr. Byrne

Will the Minister say if it will be possible for the House to get an opportunity at an early date, in Government time, to discuss the motion standing in the names of Deputies Cole, Myles and myself, asking for the appointment of a National Government in the best interests of the country?

I think the Deputy may as well leave that to the people to decide.

Mr. Byrne

Will the Minister not give us a day to discuss the motion?

Mr. Byrne

Will the Minister not give us this day week in order to find out where those are in the House who favour a National Government?

There will be a day given, all right.

Mr. Byrne

People generally regret and deplore the Government's decision.
