Vol. 91 No. 18

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business as on the Order Paper, Nos. 4, 1, 2, 3, and 5. It is proposed to take all stages of No. 3. If all stages of No. 3 are not concluded to-day, it is proposed that the Dail should meet to-morrow.

Mr. Cosgrave

Is it proposed to go on with No. 5, if we finish at 8 o'clock?

If the other business carries over until to-morrow, we will not take No. 5 to-morrow.

Mr. Cosgrave

If we finish the other business at 8 o'clock, is it proposed to go on with the Children's Allowances Bill this evening?

I would have no objection to doing so.

Mr. Cosgrave

I only wanted to know.

I will be at the disposal of the Dáil in the matter. I am anxious to get the Second Reading over as quickly as possible, but I doubt very much if it will be reached to-day; it is merely a pious hope.

Mr. Cosgrave

Is that an indication that the Minister is getting pious in his old age?

Is it proposed to take No. 5 on Tuesday in the event of the four being finished to-day?

Yes. I say yes, but that is, of course, subject——

That is the present intention?

It is the present intention.
