Motion to Sit Late.

Yes. I am most anxious to have the discussion on the Appropriation Bill concluded to-day. That constitutes important financial business and it is very urgent, as the Bill has to go to the Seanad. We are also anxious, and the House as a whole is, I think, anxious, that the Children's Allowances Bill should be discussed at the earliest possible date. In view of all these considerations, I think that it is wise to move that the House sit later than 2.30 to-day and that the order for the Adjournment be taken not later than 12 midnight.
