Vol. 92 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Army Sergeant's Marriage Allowance.

asked the Minister for Defence if he is aware that the marriage allowance of Sergeant P. Croughan, Number 26186, Horse Transport, who is at present a patient in Bricin's Hospital, has been stopped, and that this officer has a wife and three children to support; and if, in view of this, he is prepared to grant the allowance to Sergeant Croughan for the support of his family.

Marriage allowance has been paid regularly and in full to Mrs. Croughan up to and including the 17th November, 1943, on which day Sergeant Croughan was discharged from the Forces.
