Ceisteanna.—Questions. Oral Answers. - The Vatican State.

asked the Minister for External Affairs if, in view of recent developments in the war and the imminent danger of the Vatican State and to the Holy Father, Pope Pius XII, the Government will make representations to the belligerent Governments concerned to respect the inviolability of the Vatican State.

I have been anxiously considering this matter. Certain steps are being taken. It would be premature to say more at present.
