Vol. 92 No. 18

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Censorship of Resolution.

asked the Minister for the Co-ordination of Defensive Measures if it is correct that a resolution passed by the Rathmines Branch of the Labour Party requesting the admission at reduced prices of members of the National Army to cinemas in the Rathmines district and sent for publication to the newspapers, was denied publication by the Chief Press Censor, and, if so, if he will indicate the reasons for such decision.

The answer is that if the Deputy will look up the Evening Mail he will find the resolution, to which he presumably refers, published with the approval of the Press Censor, in column 1, page 3 of the Final Buff edition of the 26th January, 1944.
