asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will state with reference to the allocation of new binders, (a) the number already imported, (b) the number expected to arrive prior to the harvest, (c) what provision has been made for shipment, and (d) the number allocated to each county.
Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Allocation of Binders.
The number of reapers and binders received so far is 140; 210 additional machines are expected, but, on account of transport conditions, I cannot say whether the full number will arrive in time for the harvest. Shipping is a matter for the Minister for Supplies. Information as to the number of machines allocated to each county will be printed in the Official Report.
The following is a statement showing the number of reapers and binders which it is proposed to allocate to each county:—

Could the Minister give us any information about parts for existing reapers and binders?
That is a separate question.
If I were asked, perhaps I could.
