Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Rural Improvements Scheme.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state, in respect of each of the Twenty-Six Counties, and in particular, in respect of County Donegal (a) how many applications have been received under the rural improvements scheme; (b) how many suggested works have been approved, and (c) in how many cases work has been begun.

The information required by the Deputy will be in the form of a tabular statement which I am having circulated in the Official Report.

Could the Parliamentary Secretary oblige me with the Donegal figures which I asked for specially?

No inspections have been carried out in Donegal and we have received from that county only 36 applications.
