Vol. 94 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Collinstown Airport.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he is aware that there are four tractors at Collinstown Airport, three of which are idle and the fourth is 75 per cent. of the time idle, and if, in view of the urgent need for tractors at the moment, he is prepared to let them out to tillage farmers and tillage contractors.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he is aware that a number of workers employed at Collinstown Airport are receiving less pay than the recognised agricultural wages in the district, and if, in view of this, he will have the matter investigated and have the workers given a substantial increase.

I propose to answer questions Nos. 7 and 8 together.

These queries relate to matters of administration which fall within the province of the directors of Aer Rianta Teoranta. It is not the practice to interfere with the directors in the exercise of their administrative functions or to answer in the Dáil questions of detail regarding administration.
