I am not aware that there has been an increase in imports of tea into Great Britain. The position, however, is that imports of tea into this country bear no relation to imports into Great Britain, but are regulated by the British Ministry of Food on the basis of purchases made by traders during the 12 months' period ended the 30th June, 1939.
