Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Hackett Estate (Offaly).

asked the Minister for Lands if the Land Commission will take immediate steps towards the division of the Hackett Estate, Greenville, Clara, County Offaly, in view of the many deserving applicants for land in Clara district.

An appeal has been lodged by the owner of this estate against the price fixed by the Land Commission, and is pending for hearing by the Appeal Tribunal. Further steps for the acquisition and division of the lands depend on the tribunal's decision.
