The number of prosecutions for drunkenness including drunkenness with aggravations outside the Dublin metropolitan area during the year 1943 was 2,935 which exceeds the number for 1942 by 602. On the other hand, the average number for the ten years 1930 to 1939, inclusive, was 3,263.
